Susan started as an amateur matchmaker for her friends over 20 years ago.  After attending seven marriages of people she introduced, she realized there was an opportunity to turn her uncanny skills into a full-time business. With her colleague, Jennifer, the two started Rose & Heller, a New York based matchmaking business that operates across the US and in Europe.  Their deep understanding of the needs and issues of single women and men made them realize the need for a dating advice site and thus ZGoddess.com was born.

Before founding Rose & Heller, Susan had over 15 years of experience in the international and domestic non-profit world. She served as a Director of Development at The East/West Institute and was a Contributing Editor at Redbook Magazine. Her international relief work was focused on analyzing a situation and then executing a plan to put people and resources together to fill a need.

Susan is also a nationally ranked squash player in her age group and former world and national champion. She has active in numerous charitable organizations including Street Squash and the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest Foundation and served on the Board of Directors of The Henry Art Museum in Seattle.  Susan is a graduate of the University of Washington, with a degree in International Relations.
