One client, a 52 year old derivatives trader, Jack S. put it well, he said “it’s a luxury to know all the facts, in dating we must learn to live in a state of “asymmetry of information.”
It’s scary to feel out of control so, when people are desperate to quantify their positions, they grasp at any bit of information which is often meaningless and lose sight of the big picture.
He feels women do this by analyzing when he called, why he called then, why did he pick that restaurant, assess the significance of how he dressed, etc…
He said “not everything means something!” Guys don’t want to be constantly analyzed. In trying to control, women actually give their power away.
Try not to analyze everything and at the same time don’t imbue things they do with fantasy…let things unfold over time and important information will be revealed.
